A new deal announced by Keith Rennie Machinery Ltd (KRM) will enable the firm to distribute CARRE products in the UK markets. CPM reports.
A new agreement between KRM, a specialist firm in crop establishment equipment and leading European manufacturer, CARRE, will see the Yorks-based business expand the range of products available to UK growers.
CARRE has made its mark in European markets with its mechanical weeding equipment – including comb harrows, rotary hoes and inter-row weeding hoes – and is already known in the UK for its Prairial grassland rejuvenator, Econet inter-row weeders and strip-till cultivators.
Mechanical weeding solutions
Keith Rennie, managing director at KRM, said: “The CARRE range adds to our company philosophy of dealing with specialist manufacturers. We see great potential particularly for mechanical weeding control as the legal requirements on crop care chemicals become more stringent and crop resistance to chemicals increases.
“The addition of the CARRE products will enable our dealers to offer a mechanical weeding solution to meet the demand from both farmers and consumers in general for reduced chemical use in crop production.”
