Farmers have until next week (4 April) to submit grant applications for productivity and slurry items, as part of the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2023.
The FETF is split into two themes – productivity and slurry items and animal health and welfare items – with farmers only having until Tuesday 4 April to submit applications for the former. The deadline for animal health and welfare items is 15 June.
Grant value
FETF grants are for a minimum of £1000 and a maximum of £25,000 per theme. This means the maximum grant farmers can receive for productivity and slurry items is £25,000 and the maximum grant for animal health and welfare items is £25,000.
Eligible items under the productivity and slurry annex must come from an approved list and purchased through a supplier or manufacturer – rather than home-built.
Potential grant-funded items include direct drills, retro-fitted yield monitors and liquid fertiliser applicators. The full list of eligible items can be found here.
