Entries to the Farm Sprayer Operator of the Year (FSOOTY) awards will remain open until after the LAMMA event in January, to enable more operators to enter over quieter months.
Syngenta application specialist, Scott Cockburn, highlighted with this season’s extended autumn spraying window of good conditions many operators have remained exceptionally busy. “Now, with most being well up to date, there’s a chance to take stock and the opportunity to enter FSOOTY.”
As such, he urged farmers or contractors to put forward their operators for the awards and the chance to gain recognition for the essential role they fulfil.
FSOOTY seeks to reward the country’s top sprayer operators – while also sharing the practical tips and best practice that can help all operators enhance results and protect the environment. It’s open to all sprayer operators, with the initial stage involving just a few on-line questions.
Sprayer operators can enter FSOOTY through the Syngenta website www.syngenta.co.uk/fsooty Entries close on Friday 14 January 2022.
The winner will be announced at Cereals Event 2022, with prizes to win including a trip to the 2023 Agritechnica event in Hannover, Germany.
